A Note from Rebecca Ruiz

Sunday is father's day. Happy father's day to all you fathers out there, you deserve so much more than a day. You have taught us to fly a kite, tie our shoes, and make our own decisions with your loving guidance. This is one day we can show our gratitude for all that you do.

I am fortunate to spend my life with a loving and honorable man, so concerned about the well being of our children and their future that he decided to run for a congressional seat. Many of you have had an opportunity to meet Brian this past year as he has been out in the district attending events and speaking at meetings. I'm sure that you have all heard Brian say that his reason for running is our kids, Hannah and Christian. I know this because when we discussed his candidacy in the beginning he told me the same thing; it was about our kids' future.

It is time that our district elects a candidate that is so personally dedicated to providing a future for our children. He understands the same tough economic times as you have all seen in recent months. I want to share with you some photos of our family. I hope that you not only enjoy viewing some of our personal pictures, but that you also come to realize that this campaign is more than just a campaign. It's about changing our present to improve the future for our kids and yours.

As father's day approaches, I keep trying to think of the perfect gift for Brian. A nice watch, an afternoon of golf, dinner out with friends and I realize that what Brian wants most is to be your Congressman, to provide a voice to those who are voiceless. Well that gift for Brian will have to wait until November, but this Sunday let's show him that the citizens of District 31 want him to be our next Congressman. Click the link below or visit our website at www.ruizforcongress.com and make a $10, $20, $50 or more contribution to Brian's campaign. On Sunday, I hope we can give Brian a great father's day gift of support. Thank you all and may you celebrate a wonderful father's day with your loved ones.

Warm Regards,

Rebecca Ruiz
